Building Kingdom Foundations!

The past few months have been a series of open doors for us here in Zambia. We were Blessed with time with people from our Church in America, spending some time with some friends from Zambia and Blessed to make new friends throughout Zambia.

After a Blessed start of the year, we got to continue those Blessings by joining our CfaN and Nations Church Family again during their Decapolis here in Zambia. These crusades reached the North, South, East and West of Zambia! Dominic and I were so Blessed to be able to serve and minister at two locations in Lusaka. Through the crusade initiative we have exceeded 1.6 million documented decisions for Christ.

Returning back to Southern Province we were greeted with some sad news. It was the passing of His Royal Highness Chief Mnyumbwa. As we all gathered to mourn with the family and hear testimonies celebrating the accomplishments of this well respected king that had sat on the throne for so many years. His accomplishments with education, politics and most importantly his personal faith walk and how he sought a relationship with Christ when he had realized he had strayed away from the most important relationship you can have, the one with Jesus Christ.

In May we had the opportunity to celebrate the long awaited opening of the Chipepo Modern Health Clinic. This was a big day of celebration since the clinic will now bring necessary health care to the area. Along with a whole section devoted to expecting mothers. This will cut down the risks associated with at home births.

God has opened doors to allow for many teaching opportunities and praying for the people in the community.

I was also invited to be one of the Lead Evangelists at our First Interdenominational Crusade here in Chipepo. While things were being prepared we never missed an opportunity to minister to the children. We had a successful 4 day crusade with many accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Dominic celebrated his 14th Birthday. He shared his Birthday Celebration with our dear friend the Chairman. And we had a Birthday Celebration with all of our neighbors.

I was invited to teach on the Mighty Women of the Bible. What a powerful time that was. Dominic was also invited to teach. He taught the Church on JOB.

Chipepo Annual General Meeting was in August – Here His Royal Highness Chief Chipepo, The Chief’s Council, The Southern Province MP, All Heads of Departments and all Sr. Headmen were in attendance. Here the accomplishments of the past year and the vision for the upcoming year were cast.

Continually building relationships here in Chipepo and pushing forward to help bring basic development here – Electricity and Running Water.

The Nzambangulwe Ceremony of the Tonga Speaking People was held at the beginning of September. The ceremony celebrates the bravery of the Tonga people of the Gwembe Valley and Binga District of Zimbabwe who sacrificed their land and lives so that the country can have a lake which also provides electricity.

Attending this ceremony is always a Blessing; always an opportunity to make new friends and spend time with some old friends as we give honor to those that perished and those who gave up everything when Lake Kariba flooded their homes.

Birthday Celebrations were had! – Visits with Friends! – Football Tournaments!

Some very exciting news – Four Mighty Men of God traveled to South Africa for an Apostle Bootcamp being trained on how to run the football camps and how to train and develop a larger team upon their return and allow us to bring this vision throughout Zambia!! They have since returned to Zambia and we have been busy planning the construction of our main training center and Ministry Camp and training up more Laborers to continue growing the ministry!

Prayer Requests!!

Please keep in prayer all land delays be lifted and God opens the doors for His perfect location to be exposed and we can be where He wants us to build His Kingdom here for the discipleship and building and training of Kingdom Warriors.

For I Know the Plans I have for You

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. 1 John 4:9-11

The past few months have been so busy and eye opening. As we entered into November there was excitement surrounding what God was doing. This was a Blessed month of Networking, Connecting, Planning and getting back to our regular meetings.

When we were asked to return to Chipepo one thing that was asked of us was to open the door to much needed ministries within Chipepo. November was definitely the start of these doors opening.  We have connected with a few ministries that will soon be Blessing the people of Chipepo. Over the next 18 months these ministries will pray and plan and start their training to start joining the move of God here in Chipepo.

Dominic and I also went to Lusaka for our First Thanksgiving in Zambia. We celebrated with a Traditional (Slight Sarcasm here) Thanksgiving Dinner of Lebanese Shawarma, Falafel, Fattoush Salad, and Pie. We were also surprised by some of our CfaN family and friends that were staying at the same lodge as us for training. We were also able to spend time with friends made during the crusade – Pastors, Evangelists and Inspectors. This was a great Blessing and treat for Thanksgiving. Then the night before we returned to Chipepo Evangelist Haggai returned to Zambia after graduating from CfaN Bootcamp! We were able to greet him and welcome him home.

We welcomed December with the rains and plans for our 1st Chipepo Christmas. We enjoyed our children’s meetings as we got to celebrate the various stories of Jesus’ birth throughout the Bible. We got to celebrate Jesus’ Birth all month.

We were able to host a Christmas dinner at our house for friends, neighbors and some of the children in the community. It was such a Blessing to spend this time with them.

On December 30th, it was a great privilege to be invited to be a special guest at the MOTMOT Bible School for the Nations Graduation Ceremony. This group of Pastors and Church Leaders that made it to graduation had really pushed through and persevered. Their studies started prior to Covid 19 lockdowns and they still continued through and pushed through to their graduation. They are all Mighty Men and Women of God.

We traveled to Mazabuka for Crossover. And celebrated the coming of 2023 the way we would always want to celebrate the start of a new year. Worshiping and Praying with your Church family.

2022 was such a Blessing and we are so excited for what God is planning to do in 2023 here in Zambia.

2023 we got to start off with CfaN Evangelist Haggai visiting Chipepo Chiefdom and meeting with the Chief’s Counsel to get permission to have a Crusade in Chipepo Chiefdom. We cannot wait to see what God does here during this crusade.

Dominic and I both had the privilege to be part of the 1st ever Christ For All Nations Evangelism Fire Camp in Africa! We got to train under some Amazing Evangelists and build relationships with our fellow students. Dominic is officially the youngest graduate! The Fire Burning inside each and every graduate for Africa will not be contained. It was an Honor to be part of this group of Firey Evangelists.

Upon our return home from Fire Camp the devastation from the lack of rains in the valley had become evident. Our rainy season was very short lived and our rains had stopped by February. By the time I reached home it was confirmed, less than 15% of the Maize Crops in Chipepo will be harvested this year. We will be facing hunger issues this year.

As soon as I returned home, I started speaking with Chief Chipepo regarding the crops in the valley. During my research I had discovered that Maize never used to be a staple crop here in the valley and they used to grow Millet, Sorghum, and Cassava. All of which are drought resistant plants. The Chief was on board to reintroduce these crops to the Chipepo Chiefdom.

I had the privilege to visit a farm and irrigation project going on in Chirundu and meet with Chief Chipepo at his palace to discuss how to move forward with this initiative.

A few weeks ago I got to sit with all of the Senior Headman of Chipepo Chiefdom and the Chief’s Counsel to discuss a plan on how to reincorporate these drought resistant crops to the people. It was such a blessing to see the enthusiasm of these Senior Headmen to make these changes to better their people.

I also had the privilege to sit with the people of the community we live in where they are all coming together to purchase a transformer to bring electricity to our area. It is such a Blessing to see these people all come together and working together to help develop our community.

This past week we were honored to be invited to our Pastor’s Wedding. We got to be part of their special day and I got to share some words with the guests about the Happy Couple. Also Dominic did not miss an opportunity to Evangelize with the children that were at the wedding.

2023 has only just begun a few months ago and already God has done so much. We are looking forward to all God has in store for us in the upcoming months. We are currently looking forward to: Land to be Finalized, Recon Team’s Arrival, Vehicle Arrival, Friend’s Weddings, Farming God’s Way Projects, and the building of our Ministry Center! Continue to keep us covered in prayer!

The Lord will Keep You!

The Lord will Keep You..He will protect you and He will guide you as He directs you through the paths He takes you on. It has been too long since I posted an update, But God, He has been doing so much through the ministry here in Zambia and we are forever grateful for His faithfulness on this journey.

For the Word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth. (Psalm 33:4) He is always faithful in His promises. Things have been super busy with Blessings every step of the way since our last update.

Since our last post we have continued with our weekly meetings. We have now incorporated a second location. The children continue to come to the meetings to fellowship together, worship the Lord together, listen to the Word of the Lord together, and continue to share memory verses and learn how to share the Gospel. The children have been getting so excited for the meetings that they will occasionally show up to my house early before the meeting to assist with our preparations for the meetings and to help carry the supplies so that we can get to the meetings early.  These meetings have been such a Blessing to not just the children and the ministry team, but to the surrounding people. People from the market will come join us to hear the lesson and to join in Worshiping the Lord.

Our weekly Bible Study continues. We are continuing to learn how to conquer fear. Share prayer points for the upcoming week and Dominic continues to play friendly games at the end of the meetings.

We continue to press in with regards to the school ministry and we are starting to plan for dates to reach other areas of the Chiefdom.

Highlights of the past few months!

JULY

In July we were able to have some permanent solar installed in the house as we await the electricity to be installed in our area of the village. Let there be Light!!

The children’s meetings continued to build momentum.

I had an opportunity to teach at our Church in Chipepo and share on the importance of The Great Commission!

We had to go to Livingstone for some paperwork to be filed. Here we got to see some old friends, visit with Chief Chipepo, and we were honored to be invited to attend Chief Mukuni’s Annual Ceremony.

We also managed to take a day or two off and visited Victoria Falls and got to play with some baby lions, and we ran into a few elephants on the road.

AUGUST

In August we started preparing for Amanda’s arrival from the US. The children’s meetings continued to grow and proposals were starting to be written for an upcoming project in the village. Dominic started Grade 8 with much enthusiasm (I cannot believe he will be in High School next year). Our little garden started producing and we were able to pick our own vegetables.

We started searching the different areas for a second location for our 2nd weekly meeting. Preparations were put in place as we prepared for a busy September. (CfaN & Nations Church Family are coming to Zambia!!)

SEPTEMBER

What a month God had in store for us. New friendships were developed, more connections and relationships with the Bishops and Pastors throughout Zambia.

Amanda arrived from the US on the same flight as some of our Nations Family.

We got to join the CfaN Invasion team in preparation for the Zambia Decapolis! In the first days of the month God planted the vision of a project for the ministry to work on (more to come on this soon!) We are super excited and cannot wait until we can share the details with you all. Amanda arrived after many airline struggles and delays.

Quickly after Amanda landed we needed to return to Chipepo to prepare for Chief Chipepo’s Annual Ceremony. Having the opportunity to attend this ceremony had given me the opportunity to meet the Chief’s Counsel to our other Chiefdom under Chief Chipepo and better understand both Chiefdoms. With the ceremony we got to enjoy the traditional music and dancing and hear the hearts of the government officials and the fellow Chiefs of Zambia.

After the ceremony we quickly returned to Lusaka to start the Gospel Invasion in Lusaka. What a great team we got to be part of. Our team consisted of Five Evangelists from Four Different Countries, Coordinators and Directors from Four Different Countries and countless volunteers from Lusaka. The team came together and we were able to hit the streets of Lusaka and claim them for Jesus.

The One on One Evangelism days were so much fun. I got to break off and minister to the children as Evangelist Gabriel ministered to the adults. The children were so eager to hear the Gospel and learn. The whole team came together to do Market Outreaches. Here we sang, danced and shared the Gospel with thousands over several days. We prayed for the sick and watched as Jesus performed His miracles. We were also able to attend the CfaN Evangelism training and Field Dedication in preparation for the Crusade.

The day we were joining the Gospel Trucks, as we arrived at our first stop my phone rang. Chief Chipepo’s Graduation was about to start. Dominic and I had to excuse ourselves from the Gospel Truck, but Amanda got to remain to support the CfaN team. It was an honor to be able to be at Chief Chipepo’s graduation to support him. To see the smile on his face during the celebration was enough to melt your heart. Chief Chipepo had worked hard to run his Chiefdoms, continually share the Gospel with his fellow Chiefs and complete Bible College. Not only did he graduate from Bible College he was also ordained that day. He is the first Chief to be ordained as an Apostle!. He is officially now known as His Royal Highness Apostle Chief Chipepo.

The 5 nights of the Crusades had such an impact on so many. It was also so nice to have so many of our Nations Family in Zambia including our Sr. Pastor Daniel Kolenda. Here we were able to be part of the prayer team, deliverance team, and the testimony teams. We were able to pray for members of the Vice President of Zambia’s team.

At the end of each night of the crusade we all came together as a team and sat together to count and go through all of the decision cards for the night.

Not only were the crusades happening here in Lusaka for 5 nights they were simultaneously going on in 4 other cities across Zambia.

In a span of 5 nights in 5 cities there were a total of 25 crusades. Through these 25 crusades we had 1.3 million attend and between the Gospel Invasions leading up to the crusades and during the crusades we had over 600,000 decisions for Christ. The testimonies and miracles that Jesus performed in each city will continue to impact the people across Zambia for a long time to come. God moved mightily across Zambia throughout September. What a Blessing that we were able to be part of this!

We were able to revisit the areas we were in prior to the crusade during the CfaN Gospel invasions a week after the crusades. To hear the testimonies from the people in those neighborhoods on the differences they have seen. The church attendance is increasing and the atmosphere in the areas are having a significant impact. The evangelists are continuing with school ministries and outreaches in the neighborhoods. It is a Blessing to be able to continue seeing the fruit from our time in Lusaka throughout September.

OCTOBER

We had one final quick visit to Lusaka to finalize some paperwork. Dominic and I got to visit the Lusaka Museum with some of the Pastors we connected with while working with the crusade. We were invited to a mid-week prayer meeting where friends of ours were leading worship and then got to be there as they were prayed over as they go forward doing ministry together.

It was so good to be back at our local weekly meetings with the children and having them start back up coming to the house to play football. And we got to celebrate Zambia’s Independence Day with the Children as we incorporated it with a Bible Lesson.

Our weekly Bible Study started back up and they were all excited to have a friendly game of uno-stacko.

We were invited to be a part of the Annual General Meeting for the Chipepo Chiefdom. Here we were able to meet with all of the Headmen for the Chipepo Chiefdom, the Chief’s Counsel and Heads of the departments and ministries within the Chiefdom. I had an opportunity to share who we are as a ministry and how things have been progressing here in Chipepo.

The children are becoming more interested in learning how to share the Gospel with others and they are becoming more ambitious to learn memory verses.

As we head towards the end of 2022 we continue to be expectant of what God is doing throughout ministry here in Zambia. We are so excited for the upcoming projects.

Dominic and I would like to invite you to be part of what God is doing here in Zambia. You can partner with us in prayer and financial support. Your prayers and financial support are just as important and have the same eternal impact as the work Dominic and I are doing here in Zambia. Please continue to pray and see how God leads you to join us as we reach the children of Zambia!

Road to Zambia!

Our return to Zambia was not as we had tried to plan it, but, it was definitely how the Lord had planned it. We had big visions of fundraising trips, being on the ground in Zambia months before we actually got here, and a whole different perspective of who would be supportive of this journey.

The hardest part of the journey was God connecting us with our Church Home in Orlando, Nations Church. I struggled with our home Church being in Orlando, but now I see why Nations Church was such a huge part of our journey back to Zambia.

God not only led us to Nations Church to be our Church Home, Nations was our Church Home where we quickly got submurged and everyone became like family. Dominic quickly joined Nations Youth Culture and Nations Youth Drama. He also jumped right in with volunteering with Nations Tech Team and Nations Children’s Church. He was a volunteer with the children and their Tech Team. I quickly joined the Nation’s Usher Team (under God’s instruction) where I got to work under Steve Booysen the head of the Usher Team and some of the greatest people I have had the pleasure to meet.

Nations Church Orlando – Ushers Team

We also quickly got involved with Jesus at the Door with Evangelist Scott McNamara. With Jesus at the Door we got to be part of their Evangelism team that ministered to so many in Orlando. Revive New Believers Group is where we discipled the new believers and got to help them develop their relationship with Christ and I was able to be part of their Tent Revival where Jesus at the Door partnered with Eddie James Ministries. We also formed lifelong friends that will continue being like family.

We finally launched on March 16, 2022. We flew from Miami and landed in Lusaka on March 18, 2022. How good it felt to be back in Zambia. We were greeted at the airport by some familiar faces. We spent 3 days in Lusaka gathering necessary supplies, then headed to Chipepo to get settled and start moving forward with the ministry.

We arrived at the house we are staying at 20:00. It was dark, no electricity, but so many familiar faces and some new that were there to help us get situated and settled in for our first night in Chipepo. In the morning we were able to see the house and see that it was just the perfect place for the start of our season here.

There were some delays in getting the new locks installed, which prevented us from being able to leave the house unsupervised but that didn’t stop God. The children came to the house! Every day after school the children came to the house eager to learn. Dominic would bring out the chalk board and help the children with english and tonga translations and would always turn it into a Bible Lesson. The groups of children continued to grow.

We quickly connected with a local Church. The pastors and members of the Church have quickly welcomed us as part of their Church Family. It was very important for us to be connected to a Church Family here in Zambia.

The children’s meetings started and we could not be happier with what God has done with the meetings. The numbers continue to grow at the meetings. Our first meeting at the market we had over 140 attend! God is so faithful.

During our first month of meetings the schools were on break, so we just had our first meeting in the schools. We had 154 students in our first session. 118 of those students gave their lives to Jesus that day!! Halleluiah!! Our Sunday meetings are where we teach the children that are not in school and we can dig in with deeper discipleship with all the children in the community.

It is such a Blessing seeing the joy on the children’s faces as they are singing and learning the Word of God. The added bonus to working with the children is when we meet their parents and other members of the village that are seeing a difference with the children. As we walk to the shops we can hear the children singing the songs from the meetings to their families at home. The children are bringing the Joy of the Lord into their homes and it is beautiful.

We are also hosting a Discipleship meeting once a week where we are working through a Bible Study. We are sharing and pouring into each other, building each other up, and praying for each other with whatever needs may be present. Dominic and the Pastors always end the meeting with a friendly game of Yahtzee.

The people in the village have quickly welcomed Dominic and I into their village and treat us as one of their own. Those that are in need of prayer will come to the house and we will sit and pray. There are those that are just seeking a deeper relationship with Christ and come to learn.

God Blessed us with amazing neighbors. We get to cook together, share recipes, and just do life.

Dominic and I are completely humbled that God chose us to come here to share the Gospel with the children of Chipepo.

Please continue to keep us in prayer as we are pushing forward with weekly school meetings, Sunday discipleship, and weekly Bible Study meetings. We are praying that God’s annointing falls on the curriculum as we continue to prepare it.

God is Faithful

Many of you have been wondering what Dominic and I have been up to the past year and a half.  God has brought us in the wilderness to prepare us, to prune us, to break us down and build us up for this new season we are entering.  He led us to a literal mountain top in Georgia. There were mountains and valleys that we had to go through spiritually!! And, so far, it has been the biggest season of growing and stretching, in our Faith, that we have ever gone through.

The ministry opportunities that God had brought forth were out of our comfort zone, and we were starting all over on the top of the mountain.  We needed to build new relationships. Visit new Churches. Connect with new Pastors and Ministries. Learn to humble ourselves to serve and not be served.

While working on the mountain at the youth ministry, we learned to submit to God and Trust where He places us. There were struggles on the mountain; one of which was not having a Church Family close by.  One night I prayed and pleaded with God. I surrendered and that night I ran into what would become my local Church Family, while at a Christmas Tree Light Festival in the Park.  This is where we connected with Shining Light Baptist Church.

This marked a shift for us. God showed Himself Faithful once again.

A few weeks after finding our Church family on the mountain, the invitation to Africa came once again.  I kept going back and forth asking myself, is this the time to go?  I started the new year in Fasting and Prayer.  God could not have been more clear!!  By the end of January, I was on the phone with a Mentor/Friend/Spiritual Supporter and she was 100% in agreement that we were to go to Zambia this time.  Over the next few weeks we were processing what this looked like.

This was so scary and exciting all in one.  God had been using this time to teach and build us up.  We had the privilege of being part of a youth ministry and also had an opportunity to visit the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum.  While visiting we were able to connect with so many influential people.

We were able to spend time with and connect with an Amazing group of women, called Final Harvest, that are currently touring the country and sharing the Gospel with their music.  They will always hold a special place in our hearts.  Their friendship and Gospel Music and Faith are so inspiring to keep moving forward with God’s calling on our lives!!

We were also able to connect with several other Gospel Bands throughout our journeys there. Another example is Southern Salvation which really hit a soft spot in Dominic’s heart. The list is long of all the wonderful bands and people that touched and blessed our lives and we theirs. God is so good!

After our time in the mountains had come to an end God had sent us back to Florida.  What a Blessing it has been to reconnect with the Dove Bible Club, hit the streets of Palm Bay with Jesus is King Rally and visit with some good friends.

While we are in our waiting period, God has provided us housing for when we arrive in Zambia and has connected us with an Amazing Church Family!!  Our wait comes in the form of Dominic’s Passport.

From the moment we arrived in Florida God has directed us to Nations Church.  It is such a Blessing to be part of a Church Family that has a heart for Africa as big as ours.  While here Dominic has been part of the Nations Youth Culture and Nations Youth Drama.  Besides small groups we are both on serving teams and serving at the Church every Sunday morning.

There is another huge Blessing at Nations Church, “Jesus at the Door.”  Their team is helping to build an Army for Jesus to share the Gospel.  Dominic and I are super excited to be part of “Jesus at the Door” and being able to serve with them while we wait to fly to Zambia.

We just concluded a Three Night Gospel Tent Revival.  It was so exciting how God moved during this Revival.  There were so many Salvations and Baptisms.  Several of the New Believers are still continuing to join us for Revive New Believers and Sunday Services.

With Jesus at the Door we have also been hitting the streets hard.  We are going door to door, walking the neighborhood, visiting shopping centers and of course WalMarts.  Meeting people where they are at! Sharing the Gospel. Leading them to Christ. Then we have a weekly discipling meeting – Revive New Believers, where we get to pour into New Believers.

Even in this time of waiting- God is using this time for Good!!

Please keep in prayer Passport Blessings for Dominic.  It is the only thing he is asking for, for Christmas.  He believes God will move on his behalf and the paperwork needed will arrive in the mail.  Dominic has been staying so positive in this time as he works through the hardest disappointment he has ever dealt with.  He still shares the Gospel with a smile and puts in his all as he serves.  But receiving his passport documents would be the biggest Blessing in his life.  He is crushed that he does not have his passport so he can get to Zambia.  His heart since he was 6 years old was to be in Zambia sharing the Gospel with the Children of Zambia.  He continues to pray since he knows God is Faithful in His promises.

We will keep you all posted as to what God is doing and please keep us in prayer for God to work his miracles to get us to Zambia!!

Many Blessings!!

Merry Christmas and the most Blessed New Year!!

There is still time to make a tax-deductible donation to Truth & Light of Christ Ministries, Inc.!!!

We know that you have many options when it comes to your end of year giving. TLC Ministries thanks you for your continued support for bringing the Gospel to the children of Zambia!!

(We hope you enjoy some of these photos of our journey back to Florida)

Transparency!

Ephesians 4:1-32, what a place to plant yourself.  I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called. How many of us can say that we are walking this or encouraging others in their walk? Are we being critical or judging or trying to talk others out of their walk, because you may not understand? You don’t believe that is where they were called? Have you taken a moment to hear their testimony?

There is so much pertaining to our last trip to Chipepo that most of you are unaware of.  There is still so much that will not be shared in this newsletter, but it is time to share how God has beseeched us to walk worthy of the vocation in Chipepo wherewith we are called.

In January 2016 Dominic came to me and said “Mom, We are supposed to be in Zambia sharing the Gospel with the children.”  From that time I had Dominic commit to serving the children in Zambia.  We connected with a children’s ministry in Livingstone, Zambia. Their initial need were supplies for their children’s ministry. Dominic jumped in and put up flyers and put out bins to collect these supplies.  This first request was fulfilled with several baskets of supplies.  The ministry then requested that we raise funds instead of items, it was easier to purchase items within Zambia than have to ship the items overseas. We jumped right in and organized a Night of Worship in February 2017. We had several worship teams from varying denominations come together with various Pastors to share God’s heart. We had a great time and the children benefited greatly. With each of these fundraising efforts, God was slowly working on my heart.

By the end of summer 2017 we picked dates and signed up for a two week expedition to Zambia.  We had no idea where in Zambia we were heading or how God was going to use us. From the time we signed up through February God continued to pour into us. By the time February rolled around we knew that God had intended for us to stay longer than 2 weeks in Zambia. God had bigger plans for us.

We started exploring various options for us to extend our time in Zambia.  Many doors were opened and many were slammed shut, this was definitely a period of time God was molding us to prepare us for where he was taking us. We did not know what God’s final plans for our trip were going to be until about a month before we flew.

When we got on the ground we did not know what to expect, we were expectant that God had a plan. I wasn’t sure what to expect or how God was going to use Dominic. He was 8 years old and we arrived on the ground in Zambia, Africa.  Seeing how God used Dominic to share the Gospel with the children in Zambia continues to touch my heart.

We met people that have become like family to us.  We got to see miracles, healings, transformations, and build Kingdom Relationships.  But most of all we got to work with the children within the Chipepo Chiefdom.

Currently 53.4% of the population in Zambia is under the age of 18.  Approximated 44% of the population is 14 and under.  These children are the future of Zambia and even more so they are the future of the Kingdom of God!!  What a privilege and honor it is to be invited back to Chipepo to minister to these children.

God had a plan, and I am so happy I get to be a part of it.  TLC Ministries is looking forward to getting on the ground as quickly as we can.

With the current situations are around the world some changes have been made in our planning.  It has become more difficult to ship items overseas, so we decided to purchase some of our supplies when we arrive in Zambia. We have found a location for us to stay.  This will allow us to hit the ground running. We will purchase our vehicle and household supplies when we land.

With God opening so many doors we are getting so excited to get on the ground and start bringing Bible Study to the Primary Schools. Please pray to see how Holy Spirit may lead you to partner with our ministry. Will it be prayerfully or financially? If the Lord leads you to support us financially weather it be a one time gift or as a monthly supporter you can do this by either selecting “Give” above, CashApp $TLCMinistriesInc, Venmo @TLCMinistries, or you can mail a check to Truth & Light of Christ Ministries, Inc. (TLC Ministries, Inc.) to 8573 Winder Way, Melbourne, FL 32940.

Return to Zambia!!

“Mom, we are supposed to be in Zambia sharing the Gospel with the Children of Zambia!” said my then 6 year old at Church right after a Missions conference. Fast-forward 5 years- we are planting Truth & Light of Christ Ministries (TLC Ministries), the Ministry God had placed on our hearts, and we ARE going to Zambia to share the Gospel with the children.

I look at all the Amazing things God has done to prepare us for this new Season. The challenges, the victories, the travel, and all the people He has placed in our lives.
Since that January, in 2016, God has been preparing us for this time. In 2018 we were blessed to spend a few months in Zambia and got to do ministry with some amazing people; however, often with anything God is using to prepare you the enemy will attack. There were challenges around that time, but God prevailed. Since returning, Dominic has been asking when we will return. My response was always God will provide a way if we are supposed to return.

In the Spring of 2019 God sidetracked Africa and brought me to South Asia. God showed me so much while I was there and there will be a time to return, just not right now. Upon my return from South Asia I had gone into ministry training for sharing the Gospel with Muslims, I was preparing my heart for South Asia. Then GOD! December of 2019 my phone rings, I am being asked to return to Zambia to share the Gospel within the schools. I prayed for confirmation. In the beginning of January 2020 I received confirmation at a Pastors lunch I had attended in Florida. It was so clear it was as if God hit me over the head with a frying pan. God was sending me back to Africa! And God was putting all the pieces together.

No one was aware of what would hit us in March 2020. Covid hits and the world shuts down, including international travel. Puts everyone in a place of rest; which is where I needed to be to prepare me for this upcoming season. But resting is not my comfort zone and I continued to keep busy with ministries throughout the county. By May, God sent me to the mountains of NW Georgia to help out with a Christian Youth Summer Camp. By the end of summer, they had asked me to stay the year to help with their School. This is where I got to focus. By the end of 2020 I was getting antsy and I was ready to “GO” wherever God leads.

While on the mountain I was getting frustrated in the waiting. Borders were starting to open and the longing to go reach the people in Zambia, who had touched my heart so deeply, continued to grow. I was wondering why God had not opened a door yet for us to “GO”. I started 2021 with a 21 day fast. By week 2 I was pressing in and said God show me where we are supposed to be and open the doors. I received a message from Zambia with someone sharing a dream of us being in the schools in their village. The following week we were contacted again. This time the call was pertaining to one of the schools we had previously ministered at. They were wondering when we would be returning. God was confirming that the doors have indeed opened for us and we were supposed to return to Zambia!! Our hearts were so overjoyed, we have missed everyone in Zambia. Over the next few weeks God would reveal what our return to Zambia would look like.

In May of 2018 I received a word from someone “They saw me on an operating table, God was doing a precision cut and is birthing something new through me.” I did not understand until now. It took three years of Mountains and Valleys, pruning and fine tuning, and a night or two up wrestling with God; God had birthed His New Thing!

Truth & Light of Christ Ministries, Inc. is such an Amazing Blessing God has laid in front of me. God has also sent me the most amazing people to join this Ministry, to be part of the corporate team, and to sit on the board.

AnnMarie Gerhardt/Pastor Louis Warrick/Amanda Mangaroo

AnnMarie Gerhardt (along with Dominic) and Amanda Mangaroo will be launching the team on the ground and spending time in Zambia- building the base and relationships, and setting up the Bible Clubs within the Elementary Schools. We cannot wait to get back on the ground in Chipepo to see everyone. Pastor Louis will remain in the US taking care of things on this side of the Globe and covering us in prayer.

We are putting together the final details and will start our fundraising to launch our Ministry in Chipepo, Zambia. The Chief is excited for us to get there and cannot wait for us to launch Bible Training in each of his elementary schools.

There are set up needs in order to make this all happen. We will be purchasing a piece of land and building from the ground up. The Basic one time initial set up needs, that we are looking at will be: Vehicle, Building a House and Meeting Shelter, Solar Generator, Satellite for Internet, and travel expenses for the relocation of the team. Our God is Amazing and will provide the right supporters to partner with us.

For ongoing support, we are asking for people to partner monthly to support a school or two, or a portion of monthly school sponsorships.

We would love to share more details; we ask that you pray, and as you feel led, contact us to set up a meeting where we can share with you all the details God has shown us for this Amazing place!! I cannot wait to share more with you over coffee, on a call, or via Zoom meeting. You can reach us via email: info.tlcministries@gmail.com, on FaceBook or Instagram!!

Many Blessings!!

From Africa to South Asia

matthew 2819

Many of you have followed mine and Dominic’s journey over the past year.  There is so much more to share about our time in Zambia.  God was so faithful on that trip.  There were so many miracles and victories for the Kingdom that all of the people we had the privilege to minister to and with will forever be etched on our hears. I will get it all down one of these days and share every detail with you.

There have been some major shifts over the past few months and I have been very invested in assisting in promoting The Send in our area and speaking with various Churches and Ministries.  During this time I had the privilege to connect with various Pastors within Central Florida and was able to attend various Pastors Breakfasts and Lunches.

A year ago I had a vision of pioneering a new nation on boats.  At the time I did not know the vision was for me.  Throughout the year I would receive snipits of additional visions.  A few weeks back all the pieces came together and I truly knew the destination God was showing me.  It was only a matter of a week or two of me really putting all of the pieces of the puzzle together that I received a call from a team leader from that territory inviting me on a prayer and intercession trip to the area.

All of the pieces have been coming together rather quickly and I am super excited that I am able to share with you that God is Amazing and I am so excited to have been chosen to be part of this team.

I will travel to South Asia and will be part of a team to pray over South Asia.  We will also be doing recon to see the feasibility of sending in future teams.  It is such a blessing to have been called on this journey.

I am asking that you all consider partnering with me in prayer and financially if you can.  Please pray and see how God leads you.

I have developed some products that I am selling to raise funds.  Please feel free to share the link with anyone you think may be interested in the items.
